Part of the EFT process is to state the problem and accept yourself for having the problem. For example,Even though I feel sad, I deeply and completely accept myself.
Saying that you deeply and completely accept myself may not always feel right. Recently I was feeling rather down, and when I said those words I didn't mean it.
So I tried the following,
Even though I feel sad, I'm Ok
Even though I feel sad, that's Ok
It's Ok for me to feel sad
I'm Ok even though I feel sad
This felt so much better to say, and I could mean it. It was a relief actually, to finally really be Ok about being sad. I didn't have to be anything other than being sad right at that point of time. I felt a softening inside and a freeing of energy that felt nurturing.
So I encourage you to find what feels right for you to say.
Julie
